Job Summary
Varin SkillUp Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior English Instructor to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching advanced English courses, developing high-quality lesson plans, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the English language program. The instructor should demonstrate strong classroom management skills, curriculum innovation, and the ability to motivate students to achieve language proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach advanced English classes effectively using interactive and modern teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development, standardization, and periodic updating of the English curriculum.
- Design and implement lesson plans and activities to improve students’ language learning outcomes.
- Encourage and inspire students to achieve fluency, accuracy, and confidence in English communication.
- Introduce innovative teaching approaches and classroom strategies to enhance learning experiences.
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback and performance evaluations.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the department head or academic supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional teaching experience in English language instruction.
- Must have completed at least high school (Grade 12); a Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English, Pashto, and Dari (spoken and written).
- IELTS or TOEFL certification holders will be given preference.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and update course materials and introduce innovative teaching techniques.
- Passionate about language education and student success.
