Job Summary
Varin SkillUp Academy is seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching graphic design courses, mentoring students, and ensuring they acquire both creative and technical skills that align with industry standards. The instructor should be proficient in standard graphic design software and capable of delivering engaging, practical, and high-quality lessons that inspire innovation and creativity among learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional and engaging training sessions in the field of graphic design.
- Teach using industry-standard graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials to enhance the quality of learning.
- Foster creativity and innovation by encouraging students to explore new design techniques and trends.
- Evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or department head.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design or teaching in a related field.
- Must have completed at least high school (Grade 12); a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or equivalent design tools.
- Strong creative, instructional, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Pashto and Dari; knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students in creative fields.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic environment.
